1. What does the protection of privacy and cookie policy mean?

The processing of your personal data by Confiserie Elise is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR in English) of 27 April 2016, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. The Regulation entered into force on 24 May 2018.

What personal data are we talking about? The data Confiserie Elise about you personally and the way the company uses them. On our website we also use cookies. For more information, see point 3 of this page about the cookie policy.

By filling out our forms and visiting our website, you give Confiserie Elise permission to process your personal data as described in this privacy policy. Confiserie Elise may collect and store the following personal data:

your name, first name, gender, phone number, e-mail and mailing address; your question about your request; other information you provide us.

All this information is hereinafter referred to as “PG” for personal data.

C. Why do we process your data?

Confiserie Elise collects and processes PG only for specific and limited purposes related to its direct activities to ensure optimal communication with its customers and users of its website. We use your personal data for various purposes that are systematically and with your prior consent suggested: to receive a newsletter, to buy a product, to participate in a competition, to participate in a promotional event, to share information, etc. But we also use them for prospecting purposes and for situations where the law requires them. For example, in a contractual context, depending on the nature of our service, we may disclose your personal data or billing information.

Confiserie Elise ensures that subcontractors guarantee the same level of protection from PG as it imposes itself and requires a contractual guarantee from subcontractors that they process your data solely for the permitted purpose, with the required discretion and safety. This information may only be shared with your consent and provided that each partner enters into an agreement with us.

We continually implement and update administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or modification.

F. Right of access, rectification and resistance

Confiserie Elise allows you to maintain control of your PG. You can send your request by post or email, you can assert your rights at any time in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 Art. 15, to correct (Art. 16), removal (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), not to be subject to automatic profiling (Art. 22) and revoke your permission to use your PG.

A. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that comes from the server of the website you visit and is put on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device. The cookie contains a unique code that recognizes your browser when you visit the website or on subsequent, repeated visits.

The contents of a cookie generally consist of the name of the server that placed the cookie, an expiration date and a unique encrypted code. The collected and stored information in a cookie is deleted when it is no longer needed for its intended purpose.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect visitor statistics so we can improve our site. The exchange of data with other Google services is disabled and the IP addresses are anonymized. If you want to completely block the Analytics script, you can download the plug-in that allows you to unsubscribe from Google Analytics[1] . This plug-in will not include your visit in the statistics of all websites that use Google Analytics.

Mailchimp

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address and your first and last name to keep you informed of our activities. Confiserie Elise uses a third-party email service provider, MailChimp, to send you emails. You can revoke your consent at any time by contacting us or by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in the emails we send you.

You can learn more about the terms and conditions of Mailchimp’s privacy policy[2]. MailChimp is based in the United States and obtained a certificate regarding EU-US Privacy Shield, which means that an adequate level of protection for the processed personal data is guaranteed.

E. Cookies management

We cannot guarantee that you will have access to all services on our website if you refuse to store cookies.

In your browser settings, you can refuse to install cookies. How you turn cookies on or off and remove them depends on your device and web browser.
